OFFICIAL RULES: 2026 Defeating Games For Charity Sweepstakes

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

1. SPONSOR: This promotion (the "Sweepstakes") is sponsored by Defeating Games for Charity ("Sponsor"). This Sweepstakes is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, any social media platform on which it may be promoted.

2. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: The Sweepstakes begins on January 23, 2026 at 5:00 PM (America/Eastern Time [ET]) and ends on January 25, 2026 at 11:00 PM (America/Eastern Time [ET]) (the "Sweepstakes Period"). Sponsor’s computer is the official time-keeping device for the Sweepstakes.

3. ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open to those who are 18 years of age or older (and the legal age of majority in your state or jurisdiction of legal residence) at the time of entry. Employees of Sponsor and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited by law. Those residing in the following countries/territories are ineligible: Brazil, Italy, Quebec of Canada, Russia, Belarus, and any country United States businesses are forbidden by law to ship to or have business with.

4. HOW TO ENTER: For automatic entry into the Sweepstakes, go to https://defeatinggames.com/donate, choose an eligible donation amount or make donations, during the Sweepstakes Period, that exceed an eligible donation total, fill in the required information and select the checkbox for “Allow the fundraiser to contact you”. To enter without making a donation, entrants must complete the following steps: Send an e-mail to defeatinggames@gmail.com with the subject 2026 DGFC Sweepstakes with your:
• Name
• Mailing Address
• Date of Birth
• Telephone Number
Limit one (1) entry per person. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification.

5. PRIZE: 1 winner, per prize, based on eligibility, will be selected. The prize(s) are as follows:
One (1) winner will receive a 65inch x 76inch Zelda Throw Quilt, made from 100% cotton fabric with Hobbs 80% cotton/20% polyester batting, machine washable, air dry. Estimated value $120 USD.
One (1) winner will receive a Gold-colored NES cartridge containing the ROM Hack Zelda: Ancient Dungeon v3.1. Estimated value $40 USD.
One (1) winner will receive a Gray NES cartridge containing the ROM Hack Zelda: Ancient Dungeon v3.1. Estimate value $40 USD.

The prize is non-transferable and no substitution will be made except as provided herein at the Sponsor’s sole discretion.

6. WINNER SELECTION & NOTIFICATION: The potential winners will be selected in a random drawing on or about January 31st 2026. The potential winners will be notified via E-mail. If the potential winners cannot be contacted within forty-eight (48) hours of the first notification attempt, an alternate potential winners may be selected in his/her place at random from the remaining non-winning, eligible entries.

7. GENERAL CONDITIONS: By participating, each entrant agrees to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects.

8. DISQUALIFICATION: The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be acting in violation of the Official Rules, or acting in a way which is meant to subvert the goals of the Sponsor’s event. The Sponsor may prosecute any fraudulent activities to the full extent of the law.

9. RELEASE AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, and its respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, other companies associated with the Sweepstakes, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, shareholders, representatives, and agents (the "Released Parties") from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of the prize.
